I’ll be the first to admit that it can be nice to get away and attend a conference. Yet, I also know that it isn’t always feasible to get away. Conferences cost both time and money. Webinars save on both of these things.
Since my first time presenting online at the 2014 Online Conference for Music Therapy, I’ve been hooked on the use of technology for presenting. Below you’ll find information about the webinars I offer. Some are available to the general public, while others are specifically for music therapists.
Webinars for the General Public
Through the Spirituality Center at Learn It Live, I offer webinars that focus on:
- Personal Development
- Health and Wellness in Aging and Caregiving
- Grief, Loss, and Transitions
- Music and Spirituality
See the webinars I currently have available at my Learn It Live Academy Page.
Webinars for Music Therapists
Hospice 101: An Introduction to Hospice Music Therapy is a 3-Credit CMTE course I offer through The Spiegel Academy. It provides music therapists with an introductory overview of hospice care in the United States and hospice music therapy. This course is best for those music therapists new to the hospice setting.
The Holistic Voice: Embodying and Embracing the Instrument You’re Born With is a 4-Credit CMTE self-study course I offer to help music therapists deepen their understanding of the voice as an instrument and as a tool that can be used for assessing both their own well being as well as that of their clients. Learners will learn healthy vocal technique and increase their comfort using their voices in the different ways needed for their clinical work setting(s).
