Professional Experience
Clinical
- Provided individual online counseling for individuals who are uninsured or underinsured.
- Provide individual counseling and music therapy services that address mental health and well-being for people across the lifespan.
- Facilitate psychedelic-assisted therapy preparation and integration sessions for individuals receiving ketamine-assisted therapy services.
- Develop and lead community music therapy groups through community organizations and schools.
- Facilitated individual and family music therapy sessions for individuals with a life-limiting illness to address quality of life needs related to emotional, physical, social, and spiritual well-being.
- Worked as a member of an interdisciplinary care team and contributed clinical insights as needed.
Supervision
- Provide clinical supervision to counseling interns and LPCCs working towards licensure in the State of Colorado.
- Provide supervision to undergraduate music therapy students at practicum sites working with typically developing toddlers and toddlers with intellectual or developmental disabilities, elementary age children with significant support needs, adults who were previously unhoused and are now living in permanent supportive housing, and older adults living in assisted living communities.
- Provided supervision to a music therapy internship student, music therapists working in hospice care, and a licensed professional counselor candidate between 2020 – 2022.
- Managed teams of non-medical home health care providers by scheduling shifts, facilitating team meetings and providing case management.
- Helped establish and manage bereavement and volunteer programs according to CHAP criteria.

Teaching
- Designed and facilitated instructional activities in MU 433 Music Therapy and Mental Health Methods utilizing teaching methods including individual and small group work and cooperative learning.
