Professional Experience
Clinical
- Provided individual online counseling for individuals who are uninsured or underinsured.
- Provide individual counseling and music therapy services that address mental health and well-being for people across the lifespan, specializing in working with young adults and women who are navigating life transitions, exploring identity, and experiencing grief and loss.
- Facilitate psychedelic-assisted therapy preparation and integration sessions for individuals receiving ketamine-assisted therapy services or who are using psychedelics on their own with therapeutic intention.
- Develop and lead community music therapy groups through community organizations and schools.
- Facilitated individual and family music therapy sessions for individuals with a life-limiting illness to address quality of life needs related to emotional, physical, social, and spiritual well-being.
- Worked as a member of an interdisciplinary care team and contributed clinical insights as needed.
Supervision
- Provide clinical supervision to counseling interns and LPCCs working towards licensure in the State of Colorado.
- Provided supervision addressing the American Music Therapy Association’s (AMTA) Professional Competencies to undergraduate and graduate equivalency music therapy practicum students working with individuals of different ages, backgrounds, and therapeutic needs in a variety of community-based settings.
